HI everyone,im just about to finish building a v cop 3 game,i have used a 42in lcd as my screen works buitifully.

my question is,do the gun sensors have to be equil distances apart,as ive made a mistake and the 2nd and 4th sensors top and bottom are further apart,would this cause any problems with the acuracy ,or will it be ok after going threw the gun alighnment.

worth trying it to see what happens,i would have thought that the sensore need to be in a set area though

My sensors were not 100% straight on my HOTD4 conversion & worked ok.

HI,yes i actually used the thread to get an idea.that an lcd would work and i have seen a lost world cab converted to lcd instead of a rear pro.

.i used an old world kicks cab for my conversion.ill post pics once im done if you would like to see it.

i havent finished the bezel yet ,reason for asking ,i have the bottom to do yet.

were the distances for the sensors on your screen for the hotd4 even?

were do you buy your game disks other than ebay,id like to play hotd 3 and ghost squad.

My distance was the standard gun wire hose length, I buy all my stuff from Andy (AGS).

just done a gun conversion on my naomi universal cab the key things are distance from the screen as in my case as same as petes theres no gun tower so you need to stand away to get acuret calibration on the guns. would think that the guns will not calibrate as well as if there equaly spaced all so make sure your gun board dip switch is set to 50 as it will calculate more acuretly as well instead of 29 the other dip switch invetrts pol's on guns.

i didnt know there was dip switch on the gun board?ok so im best to fix the sensors that arn't the same as the rest.

defently on the confidencal mission gun board witch was also used in hotd2 and a few other shooter cabs.

the sceen is close to a 50in wide just the hight,but i have seen a jurasic park done im sure it should work.

would set it as a 50" as your right it will be closer to the calibration bounderys.



the other dip witch just flips x and y on the guns so when you do first boot up you will know if it needs flipping buy when calibrat the guns and go to play movement will be wrong way around. think this option was there for cabs with mirror plate.
