Sega-Naomi

Hi,



I bought a Virtua Striker 3 upright cabinet yesterday, got delivered, booted and played fine for a few hours. Powered off, on powering back on I get the white Naomi 2 splash screen with Error 22 - Communications Error Occured Between Mainboard and Options Board.



This is just a VS3 cart, I have no GD-ROM or anything. Is the Naomi board messed up? The game cart? The usb connection to the board by the controllers?



What is the options board? The board the USB cable runs up to?



I used the test button inside the cabinet to run a RAM test, everything reported as good.



Any ideas/advice would be much appreciated.

It cannot read the cart properly, thats why you are getting error 22, try taking the cart out and putting it back in.

Unfortunately i've the problem..

The Naomi 2 mobo works well with an other game.

So i've cleaned up my vs3 cart and replaced it well but it's the same...

Is the cart dead ?
