Hi, I',m NOOB to Naomi. I have problem with CVS millenium fight 2000. It got occasional Freeze screen. I don't know how to solve.

Is it about Power supplies issue?

My setup is;

- PANA Twin Supergun

- NAOMI 1 mother board with Japan BIOS

- CVS millenium 2000 cart

- CAPCOM I/O

- CRT TV as monitor

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi koki,

Could well be power supply issues, or dust/dirt. Remove the cart and clean the contacts on both the cart and the motherboard.

In addition, check the voltages for 3.3v and 5v. The Naomi is very sensitive about power, especially the 5v line. This should be around 5.10

Thanks Cageman

I'm already clean out dust. Still don't work.

I tried to adjust the power supply but have no idea how to do.

Could you suggest me step-by-step.

Thank you in advance:-)

There should be a 5V potentiometer on the back of the supergun that can be used to tweak the 5V. You should measure the 5V where it connects to the Naomi. Adjust the 5V on the supergun (or, on the power supply inside of the supergun if there is no external potentiometer) until it reads about 5.10 at the Naomi.
