Screen too wide on naomi universal and sound problem

Hi guys got a naomi universal cab and i have 2 problems with it. First one is with the monitor and was like this when i got it, the second is the sound.

Ok the picture on the monitor is too wide, i have turned the pots under the control panel and there is one that shrinks the pictures vertical size but not one that does the horizontal size. I have also had the back cover off and looking from the front have turned some pots on the left of the monitor pcb. But no change. I think im missing about 2 cm / 1inch of the picture each side.

The other prob is the sound. I stripped the cab to get it upstairs and now have really bad interferance through the sound, i have to have the sound turned right down.

ANy help would be brilliant!

Regards,

Chris

depends on the monitor but either east/west correction diodes leaky or width transistor faulty-possible feeder cap

is this an expensive job and a diy one? Monitor is the sanwa 29E31S. How much do you think a repair guy will charge, anyone know of anyone in the UK able to fix it?

giz10p.co.uk is the best bet for a repair-could not say a price,if its just a simple width problem then i guess about ?50 plus parts
