What can you do if you hook up a network cable to the DIMM 3.17 in Virtua Fighter Final Tuned? Is it just to upload high scores/times or what? Any help would be appreciated. Also I have 5 GD-roms. 3 of them work fine and 2 I can't get to work at all. They are a little scratched but nothing to Intense. Is there anything I can do to try and get them to work or are they just cup holders now lol?? Thanks in advance,

The VF.NET is now defunct, it was a Japanese only thing for uploading informations to an VF.NET server for global stats.

VF.NET is now ALL.NET and supports a lot of games, but once again it is a Japanese only thing.

Depending on your GD-ROM lens head it might struggle to read scratched disks, the GD-ROM format is a very prone to data loss due to the disc layout (pits being being closer together). Compact Flash is the only reliable solution now, IMO.

O.k thank you. Is there a way to turn off the network logo with an x showing up on the monitor when you play VF4FT? I went into the settings and out right disabled the network and it still shows the logo for a network cable disconnected when playing the game. Also do you know if I can swap out my Dreamcast GD-rom and put that into my naomi GD-rom and would that work better maybe? :)

I once bought a faulty Border Down from Japan, it looked pretty good, so tried changing the lens to no avail. What I did that fixed it was to have the disc resurfaced from a professional shop - I first tried a DIY resurface machine that didn't fix it.
