Compatible dashboards for Outrun 2 conversions?

I am brainstorming with another member of this forum (ahoud) about what dashboards would be compatible with Outrun 2 when doing a cab conversion.
I know Pete used a Scud dash for his conversion. Technically, a F355 dashboard could work as well..?
If anybody has more insight into what dashboards could be used for OR2, don't hesitate to share your knowledge

all m3 dash from scud, daytona 2, eca are ok. even the Initial d one is ok if you chanche the steering wheel and the Steering Shaf.

even club kart too ( = all M3 and all jvs panels).
for the force feedback you'll need the midi servo board.

You need to mod the steering limit as well.

Yeah, I know.. and when decreasing the steering limit (which would be the case), the potentiometer will not make a full rotation with the rotation of the steering wheel. e.g. it will read 1KOhm min - 4KOhm max, instead of the 0 - 5 range.. I suspect calibration will not be able to correct this..
I'll take a look at what I can do, just for the fun of it...
Oh, and the ID dash I have has the shifter on the left side.. but hey.. I can get used to that
in the meantime: Anyone have one of the above mentioned dashes for sale? PM me if you do, in case I accidentally destroy the ID dash

so if one was going to embark on an outrun conversion these are the cabs to aim for.
What would be the main parts needed for an upgrade apart from the plastics and the stickers.
Dash
chihiro
feedback
any particular io cards needed.

To look more like a 70's car dashboard, to match the steering wheel?? only thing missing is the fluffy dice.
