Monitor

Seems like all NAOMI carts are identified as needing a medium resolution monitor (klov website). Is it possible to run these games with a standard monitor? I have seen cabinets for sale and have even played one at an arcade and they all look like your standard 25" monitor. Is this possible, or were those monitors changed? Then games I saw running were Sports Jam, World Series 99, and Virtua Tennis. Thanks.

Klov is wrong, there 15k (standard rez) or 31k (high rez) no Naomi games are 24k (medium rez) hope this helps

Klov is wrong A LOT on monitor types for games.

Ahh, thanks guys. So then is it safe to say that all cart games are standard rez and all GD rom games (newer) are VGA high rez?? Thanks. Tons of help.

With the exception of a few (Initial D series) there all both, 15k & 31k, cart or GD.

Airline Pilots, Club Kart, F355, Route66, 18wheeler, HOTD2 are also 31K only if I remember.
