Sega-Naomi

I got a capcom i/o with my naomi 1 setup but I just got a naomi 2 motherboard.



1. If I am going to play a cart only (no gdrom, no dimm) on the Naomi2 can I use the capcom I/O?

2. If I am going to use the DIMM only (no gdrom just Dimm ->netboot :smt018) can I use the capcom I/O? Or should I get a different power supply.

3. Is there any reason to have a capcom I/O with a Naomi 2 system?

Is there a picture of a naomi 2 system with the ideal setup? I have looked and most I see is with the capcom I/o.

Well, When using a Naomi or Naomi2 mobo as cart setup in a JAMMA only cab the Capcom i/o is the best/easiest solution. No need to worry about sound and i/o anymore. All sorted.



I assume when you just use the dimmboard instead of a cart it should also work. Think it's just the Drive that need the extra juice.
