just got a HOTD4 setup, can I just plug a Naomi mainboard into the JVS IO and hook up the audio to the amp, and so on, and as long as I power the Naomi then should run the gun games using the HOTD4 machine guns?

Yes, it should work 100%

As the gun hardware is the same from Naomi to Lindbergh.

Thanks Andy, will get me a few more gun games to play for a while :) HOTD4 graphically is amazing, why did they never port this to a console?

HD4 gun cables are very prone to failure because of the way the steel gun leash runs alongside the electrical wiring - - the leash rubs away the cables insulation which then shorts to the tin foil screening - the point of failure is often near the gun - to repair slit the outer tube - find short - cut away tin foil screen.

I disconnected the internal leash and used an external one.

also if I had a different disc would I have to uninstall this game first before installing other, has a 40GB Hard Drive, or could both run off the HD and just swap out the sec chips?

Lindbergh offically can only hold 1 game at a time.

You'd need a DVD disc and keychip from another game.

Other potential games

Ghost Squad Evo - requires Lindbergh Red or Yellow enabled version

2Spicy - requires Lindbergh Red or Yellow enabled version

House of the dead Ex - requires Lindbergh Red or Yellow enabled version

Rambo - requires Lindbergh Red Ex or Yellow enabled version

Probably easier to use Chihiro gun games - Lindbergh is an expensive system.
