Noob bios question

How can I tell whether my motherboard has a JP bios, or US/Export? My understanding is that I can play basically anything with a JP bios - is this something that can be burned as easily as a Neo Geo bios? Anything peculiar about the swap? (It's socketed, not soldered, right?)

Look under the dimm board/game board and you'll see the socketed chip, usually a sticker on it be one of the ones listed on here.Just the removal/reinstallation of one socketed chip is all it takes.
