ive just the dimm batterys on all my boards



some were 3000mamp, which i think may not work correctly???





also could incorrect dimm batterys, damage the dimm boards?



maybe causing game to freeze????



ive changed many dimm batterys on all chihiros boards,

some boards still loose the charge and not keep game settings



i guess some batterys not compatible?



or issue with connections inside batterys small control pcb?

A faulty battery will only cause Error 21 - will not affect the game freezing in game.



On OR2SP you need a working dimm battery to save game settings - as they are saved on the dimm battery, not the CR2032 on the baseboard.

also changed all caps on base boards

If you have had error 02 there is a fault on the board... also swaping a psu is a silly thing to do, get the meter out and test it.

Check out the Naomi mother board that you changed and try another. I did almost the same thing when moving one of my games.

Swapped the mother board, bios like you did with a working game but it would freeze in play.

Took the MB back to the other game where I got it from worked fine.

Turns out the pins on that swapped mother were slightly bent I guess or bad contacts, used another mother board was fine.

Put the MB with bent pins and cart back in other game it worked as well.

and site is far away



been 3 times now



will have another crack at it over weekend



cant even pull machine out





took 5 guys to lift down
