Net Dimm Upgrade

I have two net Dim boards. One is V3.03 and the other is V3.17.
I would like to upgrade the V3.03 but the only Dimm Update I can get is a 4.01. Is this ok to use and should I also upgrade the V3.17 as well?
Thanks,
T

The thing about upgrading to 4.01 is that I think you also need to have the upgraded bios as well. I'm not sure if 4.01 will run with older versions of the bios (someone will have to confirm). Unless you plan on using the solid-state replacement for the GDrom drive, I suggest you stay with what you have. You will gain nothing from upgrading.

Firm 4.01 doesn't need a BIOS change.
4.01 will do everything 3.17 can, but also offers FAT16 support for solid state.

Sorry, but 'netbooting' is considered a taboo subject on these forums. :smt018
