I picked up a pair of Outrun 2 sitdown models (the twin set) anyway both seats are broken to the point they just slide backwards and forwards, anyone have a way to fix these, any pictures to show what is missing/broken would be great! looked thru manuals and doesnt show much thanks in advance Mick

I think you will be missing a part that is held in place with rivets, I had a ID twin with 1 side missing the bit.

any pics you can post so i can get an idea what im missing? please

on the black lever to adjust the seat, there should be a spring pulling the lever towards the seat base.



as the lever is pulled inwards, a tooth on it locks into the seat rail.



you may find the tooth is missing, hence the reason the seat wont lock.



or the spring may be missing/broke hence no force to pull the teeth into a lock position.

okay found the missing piece (some rectangular metal block) was in the base of the cabinet under all the crap and that, anyway hit the local hardware stock for some new roll pins, and fitted it and works just like it should, all good now
