Just a quick question. I know the Sega DIMM RAM is SDRAM, but what are the requirements? I mean like:
- RAM Speed
Any specific type
Max amount of RAM per slot
Max RAM on device
Does RAM need to be in both slots
ect...
And any others of course.

pc100/pc133, max 512MB total (so, 2 x 256MB), non-ECC memory.

I think the max is 256MB per slot, and you can run using only one RAM slot. I think the minimum needed is 128MB total. It may have troubles with the really high density SDRAM (I.E. a 256MB stick with only 8 chips) from the Athlon era, but I haven't tried. If you have Pentium 1-Pentium 3 era systems laying around, you should be able to find sticks that will work.

When put on the Naomi system, the Dimm (3.14 version) seems to not want to report anything above 512MB. However, the same Dimm installed in a Chihiro will accept 1024MB.
Interesting, eh? :smt047
