Sega-Naomi

so i got my MVC2 today and was getting some play time in on it when i let it run for a bit to come back to a frozen screen. so i turned it off a bit thinking maybe it got too hot in my cyberlead then i came back and play a little later and started to notice small glitches only to have it lock up again. so i did another ram test on my N2 only to see bad come up on IC20. i tryed again only to get a flicker on the boot and a lock up on the capcom splash screen if it even gets that far.



is my naomi 2 dead before i even get to play an hours worth of games on it?

Most Naomi gameplay/boot problems come from the fact that there is not enough power being supplied to the system. Take measurements with a voltmeter while the Naomi is connected and running. The voltages should read approximately 12.1v, 5.1v, 3.3v. You probably won't get these numbers exactly, but but get them as close as you can.
