Naomi Gun help

Post by OldFoo »

I am looking for parts that I am missing from my JVS cabinet so it can support gun games.

Here is the list of stuff I got:

Bezel, Sensors, Cables between sensors + Pass trought cable all stripped from Ghost Squad Cabinet.

Gun IO from HOTD2 most likely:

2X Guns from HOTD2 most likely:

Cable end from Bezel sensors without the pass trough cable connected:

Under the hood of my cabinet (before I cleaned it up, was too lazy now to open up the entire thing, you should see if the IO board is ok):

Download a manual and see what is missing?

You need a JVS digital I/O to connect the Gun I/O board to and the connecting harnesses. I'm guessing that the harness will almost completely bypass your cab's harness, as only a few wires are in common with a joystick cab. The pass-through cable looks like it should just connect to Gun I/O (verify the pinout first, of course), so you'll need harness to connect the Gun I/O to power, digital I/O, and guns.

Things don't look right in DSC_0048 on the end of the gun wiring. Make sure these have black lenses. The clear lens guns are for HOD1/VC, and won't work for most Naomi/Chihiro/Lind games. You'll need to replace the module inside with the IR type, and will probably need new hoses if that is the case (The shell is the same between them).

That wasn't a great advice, I dunno how to even look at the schematics lol.

Black lenses yeah :-)

Any idea where I could find the missing cables, anyone got full set to sell? :-)
