Virtua Striker 4 card reader

i have a IC card reader that was from a VS4 machine. (ill edit the pist with a pic, the the orange card reader from the naomi uni cabs)
will this card reader also work with the naomi set up for games like VF:FT or other systems that use IC cards and readers?
