Sega-Naomi

sorry for my poor english.



I have two problems :



First , i have yellow lindbergh , with graphic card problem.

It is a 7800 GS.



Can i replace this card by another one with "sega bios" ?

if i buy a 7800 GS, it must be a XFX only ? MSI/.../... don't works after flash on the lindbergh ?



if want to play HOTD4, i have read that i need to install the game with 6800GT, and put a 7800GS for playing.

Is it the "same" bios on the 7800 and the 6800 ?

i need to change jumper or other thing to boot lindbergh with 6800 instead of 7800 ?







My second problem, is about my GD drive .



I have error 24 on many GD drive .

But i have two model of GD .



The first one, is simply to repair : plug a new lens "board" .



for the second, my new lens board can't be pluged on the GD board .



















this is pics of my two GD drive, and their GD lens.





How can i repair the "black" lens ? Is it possible to repair it with new lens board ?



I have test to plug only lens and motor of a new kit, on "black" lens, but naomi don't boot with it .







some idea ??

The GD drive with the white connector may have a board underneath the assembl with the converter board.

Do i need to install it with 6800? What will happen if i try to install with 7800?
