Scratched VF4:FT GDRom Disc

I just recently purchased Virtua Fighter 4 Final Tuned software from coinopexpress and just received it today, and I received it with some scratches on the GD Rom disk itself. I know the game is used but I was assured before I purchased the disc that the discs were in good condition, no scratches. How many of you all have perfect condition GD-Roms? And should I just go to some place to get them buffed out or should I ask coinopexpress to either send me another disc or refund my money back?

well I haven't tested it yet, I'm about to test it at a nearby arcade that I know the owner of, he has a japanese Naomi 2. I'm thinking of getting a naomi 2 board later this summer when I have more spare time and money to set one up. Basically I just wanted to take advantage of coinop's 69.95 software only deal. The scratches look like some scuff marks on parts of the disc. Speaking of ECL, how come I can't access their pcb list to see what they have available?

It just looks like that part of their website is down. I'm sure they will address it soon.

Besides, you'll want to sign up for their email list--they send out price/stock updates every couple of weeks.

Disc having some scratches doesnt means it wont work. I have a Gundam disc with huge scratches that works like a charm ...

I understand, but with the amount of money ($110.00 total including shipping), I would expect a better quality used product.

It came from coinopexpress, the fact you got it at all can only be a good thing, many people have got ripped from them in the past.

I didn't realize they were that bad lol and I'm glad that I used my paypal account to pay them so they don't have any of my personal info. So excellentcom is better huh, maybe I'll try using them to get my naomi 2 hardware then.

This is what is effecting the arcade hobby scene, people wanting mint/excellent condition items, you get what you pay for.
