When a Naomi 1 dies, check under the 8 pin EEPROM next to the supercap for damaged traces. The supercaps ALL leak on Naomi 1 boards eventually and the electrolyte is corrosive.

I'm pretty sure I just killed my metal case naomi (no big loss for me) because I get no video but everything lights up. I was trying to take out the bios with a flat head and I'm pretty sure I scratched a trace.
