Help Naomi 2 Noob

Hi all,
New to the board and to Naomi's in general. I got a Final Tuned kit from coinopexpress and wanted to run it through my MAS Supernova supergun setup. I have a Capcom I/O board, but none of the cables for the board. It appears that I need an 8-pin cable to connect from the I/O board to the Naomi 2 mobo. Is that correct? Does anyone have this similar set up? Lastly, can anyone help me with where I can source this cable? Thanks for your help.

Hi! And welcome to the forums! :smt006
The only cables needed to connect the Capcom I/O and the Naomi would be a USB cable, video
and the power connector that's supposed to come with the I/O. As for the 8-pin connector,
I suppose you are referring to the white connector on one side of the I/O. This is the power output
connector that connects to the Naomi.

error josh
the 8 pin you talk about is the 2x4 big pin in top left corner
it s the power connector to connect to a naomi with a cartridge setup.
the rule for naomi tell this: if you need to power a naomi gd-rom setup,
capcom IO isn't enought, so you have to use a specific power supply for the naomi gd-rom setup.
the additional connector of the capcom IO is 34x2 very little (in lower right) used for 3/4 player or for kick harness (like in street fighter zero 3 upper).

possible, but really not recommended since you have to push the +5V of your psu a lot.
