lindbergh and chihiro running in a naomi universal cabinet

Post by OldFoo »

Hi all

im planning to buy a lindbergh and/or chihiro hardware and install it inside a standard naomi universal cabinet.

do i need a different i/o board and pwr supply/wiring, or can i just plug and play?

thanks

I think it depends on what games you want to play but from my experience its plug & play, although the Lindbergh does not use the standard Power connectors so you will need to change the PSU for this.

I've got fairly late revision IO boards and have not found anything that doesn't work yet.

nice! :smt004

thanks for supporting

i'll check my i/o board revision but i think ill have to change.

Since these mobos runs almost only shooting and driving games, im after a crazy taxi cabinet or a dedicated hotd4 (this one is already a lind system, cab is nice and price is good but the graphics on the sides with zombies & co are horrible.....)

Just another thing im thinking about: since this is a pc based hardware, can i use a standard atx power supply and, in general, are the components inside compatible with the common ones used in home pc (i mean ram, video card ecc..) for a cheap fix in case of fault?

thanks
