I'm 31, and arcade fan, in my collection , i've got daytona twin,scudrace twin, flipper and 4 Naomi.

I didn't find the presentation/welcome topic , sorry.



I've got a naomi 2 board which, in ram test , says me IC 09 BAD :smt010

All the games failed in boot.

I googled but not found any answer.

Is she dead or could be repair?

There is a good chance that it can be repaired, but weigh the cost of repair with replacement. For example, if it costs $75 to repair and a new unit costs $90, why not get a new unit? Just do your homework before deciding. :smt024

It could need a new RAM chip, which I would offer to fix, but then I'm only just grasping SMD replacements so...

I've ROM BAD, too, on my Naomi 2.

Could you tell me adresses to repair (I'm French) ? I've a faulty Naomi 1 motherboard (GPU issues) to steal a RAM if needed.
