So I've Fooked my N2

OK,
A few of you may know of my Supergun project that went titsup.
I had a loose wire, which finished off in having the 240V AC input being spooned down a ground line.
Suprisingly, every fuse in the house went POP, and ever since the N2 stopped syncing to the Plasma.
So where are we now...
Mr Meg suggested I buy his SUN PSU, and as I've just got a 240>110 converter, I fired the system up again. If anything the situation has got worse. I then fired up the N1 with no problems.
I decided to have a look at the N2 mainboard ('cos I'm such an expert at these things - yeah right, considering how I fooked this in the first place) and then looked at the filter board. 2 things struck me, in that I could see 2 copper tracks quite clearly. One is the ground for the Audio, the other the ground for the Video. With my continuity tester, the video ground track is broken, which is hopefully why it's fooked.
I swapped the filter board with the one from the N1, and apart from the image being widely off centre, the piccy is perfect.
Looking at the N1 filter, I've noticed that the covering over the ground track has started to peel away.
So I suppose my questions are...
1) Is the N1 Filter board setup for the N1, and the N2 for the N2 given that the N1 picture is bang on centre, but when I put it on the N2 it isn't?
2) Is this peeling a known fault, or just coincidence?
3) Should I run a ground wire to replace the track, or get a new filter board?
4) If I need a new filter board, anyone have a N2 one for sale & How much?
Cheers
John
