VF4 Cartraige version and Card Reader Control Panel

Hi All,
Have been busy with home renovations so have been away for a while.
Hoping to be back soon.
Does NE1 know if the cartraige version of VF4 will work with the Card Reader Control Panel for saving charaters, hi scores, etc?
Also, what information is save on the cards?
