Sega Lindbergh No Video Output

Post by OldFoo »

Hi

My Lindbergh has been sitting around for the past few months doing nothing, I turned it on for first time in ages and it powered up fine but no output ever shows on my monitor. I've tried different hdmi cables and different monitors

Is this maybe my video card has gone faulty somehow (in storage?)

Try reseting Cmos defaults.

Remove CR2032 battery from the motherboard.

Short the pins of the battery with a flat scredriver for a few seconds.

Put battery back.

Change jumper near CR2032 from 1-3 to 1-2 and boot until you get a cmos error, and see if you have video on screen.

Then power off lindbergh and put jumper to original position 1-3 and boot lindbergh.

If you still not video, remove the video card clean contacts and try again.

If you still not video, try with another video card, any AGP should be fine.

Even you can use any OLD PCI video card that you can have in home and attach to one of the Lindbergh PCI Slots.

IF you get video, the Motherboard is ok and problem is only video card.

If you still not get video, then problem is on the lindbergh motherboard.

Check also the Power connector on the Video Card, that you have 12V and 5Vs.
