Hooking up your Gd-rom Naomi kit to a Jamma Cab

I recently bought a Naomi gd rom setup with sega I/O off of ebay.
I?ve never done more than plug in a capcom i/o to a jamma cable and then hook that up to the Naomi so I?m a bit worried about hooking up my full gd-rom setup to the cab.
Just wondering if anybody can point me to a manual? I?m actually going to have somebody else who is more electronically inclined do this job, but I?d like to know what?s going on so if they are doing something wrong I can stop them.
Also I was told that I can play Capcom vs Snk 2 with a sega i/o but I don?t exactly see where the capcom kick harness would connect?

I actually just looked over a naomi gd setup manual, and that has answered some of the basic questions, if i have some problems i'll be sure to post them.
I still wonder about the sega i/o and cvs2 though....

The Sega I/O has the input for the extra buttons. It should be labeled
CN3. The pinouts for this connector is on the
Naomi Universal Wiring Diagram. If this is not the one you have, you can get it here--->
http://www.sega-naomi.com/resources/manuals/NaomiWD.pdf.
I hope this helps!

We hooked it up today and this is what came up....
"Error
Jamma I/o Board (s) Don't Have
Enough Switches or Functions"
this error came from cvs2, the gd rom loded the dim properly, we saw a capcom logo and then it displayed the above error.
anyone have a sega kick harness? I can get asap pm me....
Also, we tested the cab with virtual tennis (cart) and it loaded fine, and worked fine if that means anything.
help?

You are probably getting this message because there is a jumper that has to be reconfigured on the I/O. It has 2 settings: CN3 IN or OUT. It has to be set to IN. This should be shown on the I/O with a note written in white. If this is not done, button 6 will not be registered.

well today me and my tech found out that CN3 is only good for the p1 and p2 round house buttons! not all 3 of the kicks?
I guess the p1 and p2 light and medium kick buttons come from the jamma harness itself?
ODD?
Also any idea on how to hook up the sound from my naomi unit to my cab? My cab only has 1 speaker though
So i guess the question is will mono sound come from the left or right channel? from the sound adapter that works with the sega i/o?

I didn't know you were unaware of the jamma layout. It's true that CN3 is for buttons 6-8 for both players. The other buttons are on the jamma edge. The layout can be found on the main website here--->
Universal Wiring Diagram.
When the Naomi is set to mono, the sound is output through both channels, but with the same sound. It doesn't matter which channel you choose. If you plan on using the sound wires from the jamma layout, there are only a few options:
1) Purchase a jamma loom with the mono amp combo. (Usually on ebay)
2) Purchase a Capcom I/O which will output sound through the jamma edge. (Available from different sources; expect to spend $200+)
3) Be lucky enough to find a Sega I/O version 2. (Similar to Capcom I/O, Rare/hard to find) :smt009

:smt104 Wow... It's a good thing I got mine through a ebay auction. Now I see why they're 'rare'.
