I am new to arcade cabinet/game collecting and I was wondering if there is any type of price guide for the Naomi hardware itself. I have noticed large price discrepancies on ebay and forums like this one and thought there must be a going rate for both the Naomi mother boards and the dg rom drive.
I would imagine the games would be harder to price given that popularity, age, and rarity would all play a large part in the going rate for said cart or gd rom. So I guess what I am saying is how is the buyer supposed to know if they are getting ripped off or for that matter if the seller is getting underpaid. :smt017
There is no guide or pricelist to refer to. It's kind of like the stock market; you look at trends while shopping around to get a 'feel' for fair prices. If you think the price is fair, then buy it. If you think it's 'too much', then it might be. If you're not sure, then ask.
