Hi Folks, my name is Adam and am a new member here and havent been into arcade ownership too long.
I mainly post on www.arcadeotaku.com so some of you may have already seen these! ...
Here are my cabs:
First up is my Namco System 22 Ridge Racer full sit down cabs.
I have 2 of these amd also have the following games to play on them...
Ridge Racer
Ridge Racer 2
Rave Racer
Ace Driver
I love it!
Also have a Sega New Astro City. I mainly use this for Mr Driller G!
And lastly I am current just finishing of restoring a Universal Naomi into a sitdown NNC with a second cab in the making with another universal which might be a Net City sit down and in tate.
I have also added a Tri Sync monitor so I can eventually make it a JAMMA cab aswell!
Unfortuanlty I cant afford all the great games on the Naomi hardware so I have installed Dreamcasts for the next best thing as I own many of the great titles alread along with the DC hardware.
Here the build up of the Naomi:
I took this old Naomi:
Cleaned it:
Painted it:
Chopped it down and started building it:
(note - the monitor plastics show how yellow this was originally before I painted it!! )
New Sanwa JLF sticks , NNC decals (cheers Sega Shed!) and some spanky Sanwa buttons in std NNC colours:
Playtest:
Chopped down the leg covers last night and will be sortin them and other finishing items on the cab this weekend.
Also have another cab that I am building (Naomi) so cant wait to get stuck into that aswell!
Cheers
Adam
Tetsujin's Cabs! :D
Oh oh.. I think I have just lost control over most of my bodily functions. This is just amazing..
I wish I:
A. was the one owning these (especially the driving cabs.. so sweet..)
B. had the available space to put these cabs in
C. had a wife that would understand
D. had the skills to paint plastics like you painted them
one word: respect.
