It a common problem for the plastic tab in the USB connector of the main board to be broken, if its missing/broken the pins will not push againsts the contacts on the USB lead so check to see if that is ok.

The tab sits directly behind the pins.

I want to help out this guy. If any1 knows the cheapest way to get the I/O to him now is the time to chime in. UPS & DHL want over $100.00 to ship it to him. Thanx :smt020

I would just USPS Priority mail with Insurance and tracking, should be under $50 I would have a guess

I receive packages sent by USPS from time to time.

I believe that it should be possible to ship that kind of size/weight for about 20$.

What are they charging ??
