And his problem is it does not work with his UNOFFICIAL power supply which is supposed to be used with a PC but is jerry rigged to a Naomi instead. I think he should invest in official Naomi parts.
Somehow I am in the wrong?
I have an official Sega PSU.
I never even discussed my PSU anywhere, so how can you commend on what I'm using?
I bought an entire Naomi cart setup, pulled right from a machine. It has the original parts that came with Virtua Tennis.
If you see my FS thread, you'll note that I'm selling the extras (cart, Sega Jamma I/O, audio amp, etc.)
I have the PSU referenced in the FAQ, not an ATX, whatever the hell that is.
You're in the wrong for a lot of things, don't start making assumptions about my equipment, playing the whole "I don't understand" card.
You have pieced together your entire SETUP.
I have bought my cabinets with the GD rom already installed. I am only assuming you have the wrong power supply otherwise you would not have this problem.
I can show pictures of the cable working in the cabinet. I took about 20 of them.
How have I pieced together anything?
Man you're amazing.
I just said above that I bought an entire cart setup pulled from a machine.

I added a GD rom, and Dimm with cable.
How is that piecing together my system?
Uggh...
You are piecing together your Naomi gd rom system.
A cart system has a number of differences.
The bios is usually different. The power supplies are usually different. You need to purchase GD rom , Power Supply , Power Cable, BIOS, Dimm Board and DIMM cable in order to upgrade from a Cart system that can run off a simple power supply or Capcom I.O.
That is alot of Parts not just a simple plug and play.

If you have the official PSU, then beside the fact that you didn't exactly get what you asked for, what's the problem? You can use the cable he sent you for the GD setup.

Spoken true. It is a working cable for your GD rom power and allow you to enjoy the games you want to play.

Besides the obvious of what you said in your sentence above?
I wouldn't have offered $35 for a lousy GD rom power cable.
