Marvel vs Capcom 2 Naomi wired?

I recently purchased a Naomi kit with Capcom io and MvC2 and when I tested the game it was a Japanese version.



Is it possible to have this change to English? or are there jap and eng versions.



Also i noted this green wire that has been soldered on the game. Any ideas what it is for?

I have 21576G according to a sticker on it.

EPR-21576G - Japan



I assume if I were to purchase EPR-21577E I would be in English...



Any one offer this cheaper than ebay?



Also any idea on the wire?

I would just ignore the wire. It's a possible fix for a fault... any you know what they say about things that ain't broke.

Definitely your BIOS.



Marvel vs Capcom 2 wasn't a released game in Japan. The BIOS is responsible for the language.



Grab an English BIOS (USA or EUR), and you'll be all set.
