SEGA I/O BOARD 837-13551 (NO JAMMA)

Hi, friends.

I get 2 I/O type 837-13551 to my naomi board, I connect USB cable. I connect 5v input. When turn on the system 2 leds is lite. The system check to IO is ok. I need connect the commands input to buttons. I have a doc what have this input mapped, but the doc show linear 1 to 60 pins. The board conector is 1 to 30 x 2 colums!!!

Thanks I go make a test... The schematic is same another jamma?s board?

GND + 1UP = Player 1 UP

GND + Coin = Coin insert

In the doc 1p coin pin is GND+coin pin+5v!!!! 5v to what????

I'm not sure which diagram you are using, but coin insert is wired the same as any other jamma game.

This doc refers a JAMMA interface, pinout to 837-13551 is not same.

Ah, I see. My mistake about the document. Just connect coin to switch input, ground to switch output

like standard connection. The 5v is for the coin lamp (L), which is optional, but not necessary.

I test and work ok. but in the map (doc) indicate coin as pin 45 !!! This not trust. Coin is on 37 and 38 think... but is working and this is the really important.

I looked a few different wiring diagrams with this type of I/O board, and all are the same. Pins 45 and 46 are for Coin 1 and 2.

Pins 37 and 38 (27-40) are for player buttons :smt115

I go check again... but 45 and 46 not working.... this is a fact!
