Error 01

Hello all, :smt006

Once again I call upon the collective wisdom of these forums to help me out. I just got a NAOMI system today and the error I get is

ERROR 01

This Game Is Not Acceptable By Main Board

Any ideas?? :smt009

Did some more poking around IC29 RAM bad. :smt009 :smt010 not happy as I just got this.

What game are you trying to run and what BIOS.

I ussually see 'this game not acceptable' message when using JPN game w/ US bios or other uncsupported combination.

It's US BIOS running Capcom Vs SNK. Somewhere down the line I'll send this to be fixed. :smt011 Don't forget about the bad RAM test showing it's ugly head

Try unplugging the cart and reinserting it a couple times and rebooting.

Could be a simple as a faulty connection between NAOMI and CART

Do other cartraiges work in the NAOMI MB?

Also have you tried the cart in another NAOMI MB?

Not yet. I don't get off for another 3 hrs. I hope it won't hurt the games if I do.

How many MB's do you have?

How many cart do you have?

If you have multiple of each it should be pretty easy to swap them around to find out if NAOMI is bad or cart is bad. You can go from there.

The ram test is for the mobo, so it doesn't matter which game he has; GD or not. No matter what he loads, bad ram on the mobo will always be a problem.
