If you pay for shipping both ways (around $40-50) I can upgrade it to 3.17 for free, but I'm UK based.
I did this for Berty & it fixed his non-working dimm.
Net Dimm problems...trying to get FT running
Ok,
Looks like i'm having the same problem. I also have a net dimm. Plugged it in and nothing. Opened it up, checked the memory, made sure everything was connected..still nothing. Since I have 2 dimms now, swapped the memory chips...and STILL nothing...
Is it doing this because I'm still using my US bios? Also when I got VF:FT I got 2 disks, gds-0036D and gds-0036F? Is one of these the upgrade disk? They both say "Virtua Fighter 4 Final Tuned". I tried both disks with my other dimm and I got error 14 talking about version 3.17, which I expected. Any ideas what these disks are?
Edit: Did some board swapping and it looks like the part of the board with the net connector is bad. I'm at least getting the start screen now and getting error 22.

I read that post before posting. One of the reasons I posted is because the gds number is so different from the one's I have on my disks. I thought this game was only 1 disk, but i've got 2 :smt017 0036D and 0036F
edit: even more weirdness. If I swap the boards that hold the memory, both of them will boot but I get an error 22 on the net dimm. When I swap them back, the net dimm won't boot at all? :smt011

I don't think that's it since my other dimm works fine with my current power settings. Would the net dimm really require more power?
edit:
Ok i'll up the voltage tonight and see if that gets any results...What should I get on the 5 and 12. Last I checked was 5.0 and 11.
