Just Got Naomi Setup and Cant Get Picture Or Audio! HELP

Just remove the base containing the PSU, or unscrew the PSU from its base so you can better examine it. I do not know if this specific PSU has any voltage adjustment capabilities, but they almost always do.

i just checked my capcom io with a digital multimeter and the readings are

11.94

5.16

3.33

so i dont know why no picture is showing up those numbers seem good...

well they seem good, the only other thing that springs to mind is the BIOS chip, i pulled the one that was in and replaced it with a New latest bios chip, I can send you the old one in case it was a bad burn? do they go bad? anyone? or send me that one so i can test it? or anyone local you can test that? every other bios chip I have had from the guy that burns them for me, never had issue so dont think its that

If you have a bad bios chip the board will still boot up. It will come to the white screen and show an error message.

Right now Ryan isnt getting anything to boot up.

No picture no sound.

i found out the issue!!! it turns out the naomi board that englishman_in_plantcity doesnt work. i took a drive to my friends house who owns a net city and i tested the naomi board on it nd it has the same symptoms that occur in my cabinet. I know his cabinet plays naomi since he owns 3 boards which all worked... I tested the capcom io as well on his neo geo cabinet and that worked fine. so atleast i found out the problem. now i just hope englishman_in_plantcity will do the right thing. ill keep you guys updated.... well dont know what happened as was working fine prior to pulling it, as shown in CT post, anyway as I said in PM send it back and ill trade it out for another or fix it

i appreciate that.... i have it boxed up and will ship it out monday. i have no clue what happened im not trying to be a pain.. i appreciate your help with this.

any one know why it was working fine ala CT, then not, what would fail? shipped many Naomi boards and never had a problem, just curious?

i can confirm that board worked fined before he shipped it.

english, if its shot, i have one here i can give ya, i saw it working with my own eyes myself.

Im not sure why it doesnt work.. all i did was plug it in... my cabinet was actualy outputting the right voltage which i confirmed after i spent 28.00 on a digital multimeter... i then took it to my friends house who has a netcity and it wouldnt boot on that either...

i appreciate your assistance man.... both you guys are nice people...

i shipped the board today priority... so hell have it by wednesday.
