Naomi 2 GDROM Error 21 - fails the memory check (50%)

I have a working GDROM drive but now I get error 21 at boot with one of my DIMMs (I have two). The game data is read successfully, but the memory check fails at 50%. Voltages seem right, so what do I do?

I'm using an Astro stock PSU to power the whole thing.

GDL-0010 is alive!

Run the Dimm's memory test. This will tell if either of the memory modules are bad. If they test OK, then the game is still not loading properly.

DIMM 1 BAD, it says - I'll try reseating.
