namco JVS to JAMMA adapter buttons and joystick don't work

Hello people!

I have installed a Namco JVS to JAMMA adapter (supposed to be NOS) in my Sega Net New City cabinet. Audio and Video work flawlessly but the control panel input is not sensed.



I have tried all permutations of dip switches on the adapter, no change.

If I connect my Naomi system to the NNC via JVS the control panel

works perfectly. It just does not work when using the Namco adapter.



I have heard of many people using this adapter on a NNC cabinet without problems (apart from the coin problem).

I am quite new at this candy stuff... any idea where to look? Suggestions?

Make sure the wiring is correct. You can take a look at this Wiring Diagram. Much of the text is in Japanese, but the connections are in English, so you can get the info you need.
