Error 22 ?

Anyone give me a clue where to look for the problem.

Naomi 2 GD-Rom system running Virtua Striker 3.

Loads the DIMM up, then comes up with...

---------------------------

ERROR 22

Communications Error Occured Between Mainboard and Options Board.

---------------------------

Any help most welcome.

Going to check NAOMI computer with cartridge now to try to narrow it down.

Pull the dimm board apart, and reset the top layer board on the Dimm core board, sometimes they come loose.

Think I sorted it, nothing a rubber mallet on the DIMM board didnt cure. Must have had iffy connection..

Joking about mallet before someone says summit btw

I've got the same problem, error 22, but i'm testing my naomi 1 mobo connected via VGA into my pc monitor,I've also connected the DIMM with the GD-Rom but

without any USB cable plugged in. Can be that the cause of my error 22?

If not, can you please be more detailed and tell me how to reset the DIMM board?

There are 2 screws on the top of the DIMM board. Remove them, and then take the top cover off.

There is a small board attached to the main DIMM board. Remove it & re-attach it. Put DIMM back together.

Andy did this to one of my DIMMs.

IIRC - No USB doesn't throw up an error, as I had an issue with my controls not working, till I realised I forgot to attach the USB
