PS2 to Naomi PS2

I'm thinking about hooking up my PS2 to my Naomi cab. Video and sound are easy, but I'm undecided how to hook up the controls.

Best idea I've had is to hack 2 old PS1 pads. Can I connect these directly to the CP or do I need to go to a spare harness.

Any Ideas

also you could get a ps2 to jamma converter card...they sell em on ebay pretty regularly. I have one of em and they work pretty good all things considered...
