Cabinet/power question (Atomiswave cabinet question)

Okay, so I'm talking to someone about an AWSD cabinet, because he sold out of his Naomi cabinets... :smt011

Anyway, he's told me that the cabinet has the following:

Jamma system

3.3V power supply

high res monitor with auto switching chassis

So, naturally, I have some questions.

Does anyone know if the AWSD cabinet is just a JAMMA cabinet, or if it's a JVS cabinet also?

How does the control panel connect? Can I easily switch Naomi control panels with this cabinet? (I have a Virtua Golf CP, and would want to easily switch them in and out.)

What does he mean by 3.3V power system? I'm totally clueless about this one.

I basically want to be able to play any of the following systems on the cabinet, easily, just swap them in and out: Naomi/GD rom, Naomi 2/GD rom, CPS Series, ST-V, Atomiswave (this should obviously work), PGM, Model 2, Model 3.

High res monitor with auto switching chassis - does this mean that it's a TriSync monitor that will automatically switch to the optimal resolution just by plugging in a system?

Does the monitor rotate? If so, will it rotate easily?

If anyone can help me determine if this cabinet is a good fit for a Naomi setup, I would greatly appreciate it.

Finally, what is a reasonable price for one in excellent condition with a like new monitor?

I dislike these cabs with a passion..

Crappy Wei-ya PSU which is likely to break, inferior wiring to Sega cabs, monitor with no frame (so tating or remove is a real ballache), monitor that has the worst geometry I've ever seen (some are okay, some are just bad).

It does have JVS power looms, but for Naomi,Tri etc you'd need to add a stereo amp.

Got one of these myself and atm am running a Naomi 2 GD-rom set up using a capcom I/O through the Jamma harness, luckily its wired up for JVS so the power is plug in to the MOBO and your away, no need to use the power through the Capcom I/O.It didn't have enough juice coming through it anyway to run the GD-rom aswell as the MOBO :smt012

You could do what I did when I got an Awave, rip the guts out and put Sega inside..

If you can get it cheap, take it for now, till a Sega cab comes up.

Egret CPOs look more curved, you mentioned that you wanted to use Naomi CPOs, I may be wrong, but it looks like you would have to do some modifying to make them fit properly.

Can anyone confirm/deny that?

Other than that, if the price is right, like Andy said, get it for now and then swap out later when the right thing comes along!

Yeah, I thought of that, but you're (shall we say) significantly more skilled than I am.

I'm sure it would be very easy for you, where as I would be challenged possibly beyond my capabilities.

Also, what is a decent price on this, especially if I have to invest more in it to play the way I'd want it to?

Yeah, that would be very important, if I couldn't use the Naomi CPs on this.

Anyone?

You can fit Sega panels on them, but you have gaps..

The PSU in those Awave is crap, and really struggles to power Naomi as that requires a good 3.3 and 5V, and 12V if you use the GD-ROM drive.

I wouldn't even attempt to power Hikaru/Tri or Chihiro as they need even more juice.

That blows about the control panels.

You're saying that in addition to the SUN PSU that I use with my Naomi setup, I would need an additional PSU for the cabinet, correct?

Sorry, I'm having trouble understanding without a visual reference.
