Hi all!,
I 'm Querubin from Spain. Newest private owner of a Naomi universal cabinet from 2001 made in UK with a naomi2 gd-rom system and the game Beach Spikes (2002). I have no clue about the possibilities of this machines and hope to learn from you what the best to do with it to me.
I think it has a Sanwa 29E31S monitor and need to be repaired. May be you can help me.
Nothing appears on the screen when is powered on. But when you unplug the VGA connector a vertical line appears in the middle of the screen.
I have tried the VGA wire on a PC display and the game works ok.
I thing is a problem on the horizontal output but I'm not sure about that and neither how repair it.
Can you guide me to find the problem and solve it?
Thanks in advance and excuse me my poor english.
Introducction and vertical line on my screen
Ok, I can't locate the flyback transformer exactly but I will resold everything.

An observation. I checked the D401 component (It can be seen on the manual). In the manual sais that is a diode but it is indentical to a transistor.
When I have checked it the center and right pins are communicated and the multimeter beeps. If it is a transistor is bad, and if is a diode I don't know.

I again.
Resolded flyback and connectors and no changes.
I have been testing different transistors and the Q412 (horizontal deflection output) is in short (Is say this in english?). Whatever of three pins I test my multimeter beeps. I think replacing it all will be solved. Could I be on the right way?. Is there any other component associated to this transistor a resistor or something I had to replace too?.
Thanks.
