Naomi Universal 'Euro' coin mech

Post by OldFoo »

Hello all,

I need a coin mech for my Naomi in the future. Not a big deal but i just want my Naomi to be complete. I found out it was missing just after purchasing it. Didn't inspect the machine good enough because it was love at first sight. :)

Anyway, Does any electronic coin mech fit in or should i look for a specific one? All info is welcome.

Thanks, Henk.

Make sure you machine has the C120/S10 type mech cradle.. Some have a C220 cradle..

I have some C120's/SR3's that are marked up as UK coins and Euros but Id have to test them for accepting euros!

Hello Craig,

Thanks for your comment! I was able to buy a Coin Controls C120 of Ebay for Euro 30,-. It is programmed for Euro coins so that was quite conveniant. The ones you're offering on your site are cheaper but having no patience was the winning factor here. ;)

Anyway, It fitted right in so it must've been the right cradle. The only thing missing on the coin mech were those little screws that hold the mech in place but i solved that temporarily.

Do the C120 / SR3 differ hat much in size compared to the C220?

Thanks, Henk.

Yes the C220 is massive compared to the SR3/C120, I personally think a C220 was only found in the first batches of Naomi's, they changed to C120 as it is cheaper mech at the time.
