I'm accumulating info on chopping down my uni and transforming it into a NC or NNC in the future.
I've found a lot of useful info on this forum which gave me the confidence to go ahead. I already dismantled the uni before so i'm not too worried about that.
On most European uni's there's the coin chute and a plastic strip attached to the top corner of the base.
(See picture below.)
On all chopdowns i've seen this strip isn't present.
Ok, Should i remove the strip when chopping or leave it as it is?
Also, Will the coin chute be completely removed and chop it just as much as the coin chute's length? So that the underside of the panel is touching the base. (In this case i think the plastic strip must be removed).
I imagine that when you leave the strip as it is you will have a small gap between underside panel and base. Any info on this is welcome.
Cheers, Henk.
