Connecting Naomi system to JAMMA Cab

i found that the power supply and the audio amp actually connected to soem of the wires that came with it that seem to have been cut so i pluged them in then on the cut end i just stuck them into a 110v supply and everything seems to power up but i dont get anythign on the monitor.

I have switched dip 1 to on and the other dip switches are off.

Is there something else i need to do ?

can you post new pics of the new and cleaned wiring?

I havent done the sound bit as im not too sure about how i can connect it. Can i just solder the wires coming from the sound amp to those two pins ?

I wonder if something is broken

I see a green light from inside the naomi and a green light on the amp.

Also thougth i should mention that my arcade is working fine as i have an xxxx in 1 , 2 atomiswaves . neogeo 64 , an S-TV amd 2 pcbs tekken 3 and tag tournement and they all work fine.

i have all my stuff running through a multi jamma board but i also tryed the naomi on its own.

Looks like someoen has either repaired this or tryed to repair it.

Seems to be wire and resistors and stuff stuck on the board with glue cant really see well in this pic

your setup is correct.

try to connect the audio to the jamma i/o board (two pins at the left).

if you hear the sound but no video, maybe the mobo is faulty.

hi sorry for bumping an old thread but i finally got round to getting a new motherboard and it works now

But im still not sure about the sound ?

The connector that you say i need to put a pot in how exactly is it wired ? I mean it has 5 pins but a pot only has 3 so what pin gos to what connection on the pot ?

EDIT: I got it woerking :DD I found a connector in that mess of wiring that i removed that had 3 wires coming form it and a link.

I then just connected the 3 wires to the 3 connections on the pot and now its working

:D:D.

Off to ebay now for some more naomi games ::D
