Voltage Problem?

Post by OldFoo »

I recently put an ATX PSU in my cabinet to replace an old, clunky, JAMMA power supply. Once I was done, I tested both my Naomi's in it and got error 01 on both Naomi's. I tried multiple working carts to make sure it wasn't the game either. The only other thing I know it could be is a case of wrong voltage, but I'm not sure. Here's my multimeter's readings:

3.361 (for 3.3v)

5.15 (for 5v)

11.97 (for 12v)

are those reading at the mobo or on the psu?

Thanks for the quick reply. Those are the measurements I get from the 6-pin and 8-pin plugs themselves. The ones that are connecting into the motherboard.

they are pretty much spot on but you must remember that if the psu is a low wattage then you will get problems

Ah, well it's good to find out that the voltage is fine. The error 01 must be something else besides the power supply then. It is a fairly new power supply and is 450 watts. I also made a new set of plugs that snap into the motherboard pretty nicely, so its not an issue with the contacts either.
