ID3?

Okay with my FZERO AX that runs the Triforce setup, which looks like the same setup as naomi with the IO board and that, just has force feedback and the like, card reader etc etc, could I literally unplug the triforce mainboard and plug in a Naomi 2 mainboard and get a Net Dimm/Dimm and play the naomi drivers in the cabinet, would the steering and pedals etc work, any known issues? i know it doesnt have a shifter but has paddles could that work? will CT, ID3, Club Kart work or total no go? just would like to keep FZERO and possibly sell of WR & AP if I can make this a combi cabinet - any info much apprecaited

hi,

yes it will work 100%!!!!!!The wiring and boards are the same..... you just need the right motherboard, add buttons(the should be already wiried you just need to add the buttons on the buttons board) and shifter......that's it!!!!!!

With your cabinet and some little modified you can easy play:

F-Zero AX

ID1/2/3

Club Kart

Jumbo Safari

Crazy Tazxi

Outrun 2

Outrun 2sp

Crazy taxi HR

Mario Kart

Wangan Maximum tune 1/2/2B

I own an ID cabinet and actually i can play all these game.....just

missing F-zero and Mario Kart.....I realy hope to find those games soon...

thanks for that, I put a CT cart in there today and whilst it played and looked nice, the button config and pedals are off, I presume I would need to make a adaptor to go inline between IO board and currently harness? any help much apprecated

sorry to interupt this thread,,i also have an id3 cab,and was thinking it could do with a change,how big a job would it be to change it to a maxi tune set up?
