Hi,
I couldn't find any presentation thread so here I am, the newbie with a question...
I just bought a Maze of the kings kit to use with my Sega Blast City.
The more I read the forum, the more it seems like it should be used in a dedicated cabinet.
Here is what I have :
- guns
- power supply
- Gd Rom drive
- I/O board
- Naomi motherboard with Dim board
My cabinet is JVS ready as I have a Naomi running in it.
I checked, and the guns can be plugged behind the control panel, but then I have no start button.
Is there any simple way to make it work without turning the cab in a shooting cab for good? Maybe like wiring the start buttons seperately to the jamma or something like that?
Do I need a gun sensor? I've read a few threads where it is mentioned?
Would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction?
Thanks

You will need a gun sensor bezel, they did not make a official 1 for the Blast so you will have to make 1 yourself:

See the above thread for gun game info
I've seen a homemade 1 for Astro where the guy drilled out the holes.
And I made a whole bezel for the Lind:

Hey Pete, thanks for the answer.
Yeah I should probably get a new blast bezel and drill holes for the sensors.
That sounds doable.
Would these be the right parts for this?

This is the board the wiring diagram is referring to. Some vendors offer this one and say it is compatible with motk :

And this should be the sensors :

I guess I will need 10 of these.
