Radirgy Noa - HELP

I just got in a NOS kit of this game. Its cartridge format. The kit comes with the latest BIOS required to play it. [H I believe?]

The game seems to work great. Except I don't any BG music on the levels. Here's a detailed rundown:

1. Game intro comes up w/sound fx and music.

2. start game, no music in "how to play" or on the level itself.

3. Boss music kicks in when fighting boss.

4. rom check on the cart is 100% good.

It's driving me crazy. Hoping it's a flaky mobo and am trying to get another one on the cheap to make sure. Just curious if anyone has any pointers if they've ever experienced or heard of anyone experiencing something similar to this?

not that anyone cares...

seems to be a bug on this game that if set to freeplay, BG music disappears. Becurious if anyone has this game and experienced this.

These Radirgy kits seem to pop up everywhere now-a-days. Anyway, Hope you find a solution.
