Anybody have any success in using IDA in disassembling Naomi stuff?
not having super good luck, there appears to be a lack of documentation on entry point, and starting ports for rom/ram/bios/gdrom/dimm/etc.
i got some tidbits from naomi.c , but its still unclear.
also, IDA has SH4 and SH4B ?
looks like Dimm memory starts @ 0x01xxxxxx and carts are 0x008xxxxx
Out on a limb...

What are you trying to acheive?
i am trying to map the system to try to maybe do something with the hardware, and maybe some day, figure out a way to do homebrew.
like others have mentioned, it would be cool to be able to play mame or some variant of custom game on the hardware.
it appears all the dchomebrew p33ps have died, or gone onto other things, can't seem to find any info on contacting anybody that has the know how on anything, its almost like everyone has vanished.

Memory map is pretty much the same as the dreamcast, problem is Naomi libaries are a bit different to DC, so without a Dev kit, I think it would be extremely hard to make Naomi code.
D Knute has written some simple stuff for Naomi though, like his Trojan dumper applications.
Speak to him if you are serious, he is a guru at Naomi hardware
